Our vision is to make samosas the most loved anytime snack across the globe. Seattle Samosa is now expanding into multiple Farmers market. We are looking for an experienced team manager that can manage seasonal events as well as Farmers markets. You will be the face of Seattle Samosa at these places. Job Summary
You will be responsible for end to end operations at these events/markets. This will include planning, hiring, on-site market representation, leading setup/ tear-down, and overseeing sales and service on market days. The Market Manager is expected to have a thorough understanding of our mission and goals, and enforce all of our policies.
Position Qualifications & experience

High school
-
Two years of experience with direct customer service, sales, management or events

Experience with handling & recording sales transactions and record keeping.
Requirements

Must be 18 years or above age.

Must be able to communicate effectively in English.

Must have a valid driver license and reliable vehicle to commute between kitchen and event locations.

Obtain and maintain an active Food Handlers Card.

Weekend availability is required for this position

Bending, kneeling, and standing for long periods of time is part of the job.

Job requires the ability to lift and carry up to 50 Lbs items.
Job Duties
Duties include but are not limited to the following:
-
Set-up, tear-down, and care of operations equipment. Ensure complete set-up of each event.

Oversee and provide guidance to crew members at the event.

Organizing and running special events example festivals, salmon day or any other opportunities in Puget sound area

Assist with marketing and promotion of Seattle Samosa at farmers market and other events.

Complete accurate financial reconciliation of market sales, merchandise sales and vendor payments at the end of the market day.

Be an active team member by working closely with staff to communicate ideas, identify potential problems, provide feedback, and offer creative solutions

Assist with cleanup, wrap-up, and responsibly return items.
